HAMILTON
AT THE BASH & MASH
There is little less than a week to the hottest show of the year
at the Hilton hotel in Belfast. That where Billy Murray along with
the kickboxing fight fans and Prokick members join together for
the Bash & Mash in celebration of the clubs tenth anniversary.
KICKBOXING ROAD SHOW Prokick’s road show is starting to gain
momentum. We can revel there will be open day seminars in Newtownards,
two venues in the Belfast area, Downpatrick, Strabane and Ballymeana
with five further venue to be confirmed soon as part of his planned
province wide road show with all proceeds going to charity. More
details will follow shortly
SCHOOL UP DATE Since SP released news last week that Billy
Murray will teach kickboxing three more schools. news is just in
of two further inquiries from schools in the north down area with
more expected to follow. A representative from Prokick said. “ More
and more schools are starting to look into the values that kickboxing
has to offer to our community and that it is not just a competitive,
its an activities that suits all ages. We’ll keep you posted.
WKN NEWS The first ever kickboxing event in Nigeria sanction
by the WKN will be dubbed " AFRICAN PRIDE WARRIORS " and is set
for the 15th March in the city of Lagos. A feast of top fighters
are confirmed to be in action including Joseph Mukasa of Uganda
whom Downpatrick’s Gary Noade defeated for the Pro/am World Super
Welterweight crown in November. Joseph will be involved in a demonstration
bout against top middleweight professional Andre Alexi. The event
is headlined with a Low kick World title clash and also boasts three
international bouts and two national WKN titles. GRADING February
21st , will see kickboxers from all over the north try and move
up a level to yellow, orange and Green belt. The tests will start

NEW BEGINNERS CLASS A new beginners class will start at ProKick
in Wilgar street this Friday the 28th Feb starts 6pm sharp - to
book you place please call the above number.
INSTRUCTORS COURSE - Prokick will hold an instructors seminar
for all the up-and-coming wanabees. The Belfast school of kickboxing
excellence are planning a further ten new outlet across the north
where the public can learn Kickboxing ProKick style. Part 1. of
the course starts Saturday 2pm on the 23rd March. Prokick member

FLATLEY ON A HIGH World title contender Owen Flatley, is
going flat out in training, in what some may say is his last shot
at a world title. Flatley, as ever is quietly confident that he
will have the fancier feet work to get the job done within the distance.
Heavyweight Sean Collier squares up with Phillipe Soyer of France
over 5x2. Leisureland Complex Galway will also feature Belfast’s
World Champion Gary Hamilton who will face Russian born Mike Pazowski
now fighting out of Dublin under Thai-Boxing rules. For ticket contact

LISBURN Prokick Gym’s head instructor former world Champion
Billy Murray visited the Lisburn branch of his kickboxing network
on Monday. The class which takes place on a Monday evening at the
Lagan Valley Leisure Plex is going from strength to strength at
the moment and plans are currently being put into place for a brand
new beginners class coming soon. James Gillan the All Ireland super
heavyweight champion is the club instructor. Prokick Lisburn.
BANGOR Pictured Kris Hanna (Back Right) with one of his
future student Barry Cavan at Prokick Bangor. Kris has been an assistant
instructor at the Prokick Gym for a couple of years and is currently
under going his final steps of coaching training with Billy Murray
to become a full Instructor. Kris will take over from Gail Hagan
at the Bangor club in the coming weeks, when he completes his final
course. Kris is also one of Prokick’s many rising stars and he is
currently doing intensive training for three bouts coming up in
Galway, Norway and France. If you are interested in getting started

Ballymena (For Ann’s Photo) Former Instructor of Prokick Ballymena
Ann Kennedy said her final goodbyes at the clubs HQ in Belfast this
week. She is pictured with her replacement Ryan Magee and Billy
Murray who presented her with a certificate of excellence. Ann will
be back in Belfast for the grading and the Bash & Mash this week.
