Fatili
Moug (France)
Kenny
Bishop weighed in at 74.5 kilos, his French combatant weighed
in at 73.1. Moug has more experience than Bishop and is technically
very proficient where Bishop is the more aggressive but also has
superb kicking ability, high and low. Unfortunately Bishop suffered
an injury to his left shin and the referee called the fight to
a halt - fortunately for the French man as Bishop had him on the
canvas with a knock down. Bishop looked the stronger of both boxers
but the doctor also agreed with the referee’s call.
Sheldon
Schutzler (Bangor)
Vs
Stephane
Reveillon (France)
The
Sharp Shooter was to take on Englishman Marcell Kelman who sadly
had to pull out at the last minute. K1 supremo Stephane
Reveillon
was happy to step in for what was to be a most exciting Thai Boxing
Bout. Sheldon weighed in at a surprising 100 kilos a big difference
from his title last year where he fought Simon Fenech for the
Commonwealth title at 88kilos. The French K1 contender also weighed
in at exactly the same weight, 100k.
Gary

Vs
Farid
Benmimoun
(France)
Gary
Hamilton successfully defeated Frenchman Farid Benmimoun in this
Full Contact 5x2 WKN European Title Fight… Gary Hamilton floored
the French No1. - at the end of the first round. But, it was easy
to see why Benmimoun was No1 in Europe as he clearly rocked the
Belfast boy in the second with some heavy kicks and punches that
took Hamilton to the floor for a count. In the third Gary changed
his game plan by working to the body of the tough French man –
half way through the third, Benmimoun hit the canvas this time
not beating the count, referee Andrew Harron counted him out.
Billy Murray said later, "I’m so pleased for Gary he did
everything I asked of him and more, he was brilliant - what a
future he is only 19. He will be World champion. "
Hamilton
and Benmimoun weighed in exactly at 62kilos each.

Sheldon
Schutzler from Bangor was to square up England’s Marcell Kelman - this
is a bout the sharpshooter has been looking for, as 4 years ago the English
man stopped Schutzler in the 2nd round. Sheldon believes Kelman has been
avoiding the rematch for a long time, Billy Murray said, " this would
have been one of the best bouts of the night, Hey! but that’s Kickboxing,
lets move on. The Sharp Shooter will now take on K1 supremo Stephane
Reveillon
who was happy to step in for what is sure to be a most exciting Thai Boxing
Bout.
Kenny
Bishop (Bangor) Vs Fatili Moug (France). Bishop will have his work
cut out, as Moug is very experienced. If the Bangor man stay’s true to
his recent form it should be a great fight. Kenny has been on super form
- "I believe he could be a star in the world of Kickboxing, he travel
recently to Switzerland and floored the Swiss champion in his hometown
just last month," said Murray.
